Mildmay Amalgamation and Admissions Consultation

An opportunity has arisen for Bridge Academy Trust to consult on a proposal to amalgamate Mildmay Infant and Nursery School and Mildmay Junior School into one Primary School (age 3-11) from September 2022.  

 

Consultation opened on Monday 24 January 2022.  Documentation regarding the proposal and consultation can be found here.

Consultation Proposal Document

This document includes an outline of the proposal, answers to key questions, details of the consultation meetings and how to respond to the proposal.

 

The document has been sent to all parents/carers, staff, local schools, the Local Authority and is available here for any member of the community to read.

Draft Admissions Policy

If the proposal is agreed, the planned admission number (PAN) at Reception age for the primary school will remain at 90.

 

All pupils attending Mildmay Infant and Nursery School and Mildmay Junior School would transfer to the proposed primary school.

 

This draft Admissions Policy will form part of a 6-week Admissions Consultation during which comments can be submitted to: consultation@bridgeacademytrust.org

Online Consultation Event

A live online consultation event will be held on Tuesday 1st February 2022 at 6pm during which members of the Trust including the CEO, Director of Primary Education and Mildmay Headteachers will answer questions raised.

 

Parents/Carers and any member of the community can attend the online event by clicking on the following link: Microsoft Teams Meetup

 

Questions can be sent in advance of the event to consultation@bridgeacademytrust.org or by typing in the Q&A function that will be available during the event.

 

A signer will be present at the online consultation event.  The event will be recorded and the video will be made available here after.

Consultation Response Form

Having digested all the consultation information, you have the opportunity to give your response to the proposal by:

The deadline to submit a response is Sunday 6th March 2022.

 

All responses will be collated and included in the proposal being sent to the Regional Schools Commissioner (RSC) by 31st March 2022.
