PUPIL JOURNEY

Continuity of experience and quality at every stage of education. Where a student is able to attend Bridge Academy Trust schools from Early Years to GCSE and beyond, their education will be underpinned by shared values and consistently strong, ethically-led leadership. Our schools work in regular and close partnership, meaning families benefit from continuity of communication and systems. High quality transition and liaison enables us to better meet the needs of students, particularly at key points in their educational journey.

 STAFF DEVELOPMENT

High quality staff at every level. At Bridge Academy Trust we have the highest expectations of our staff. We understand that teachers are the heart of our schools and have the biggest impact on a student’s experience. Our planned, prioritised, high quality staff development raises standards of teaching and learning in our classrooms.  Leadership development is a key focus of our Trust. All Bridge leaders are committed to and benefit from a robust programme of support and development.

PEER TO PEER SUPPORT

Everyone has something to learn and everyone has something to teach. At Bridge Academy Trust we are growing networks of professionals within and across our Trust, strengthening and deepening each other’s knowledge, understanding and practice. We purposefully create opportunities for informal peer-to-peer support alongside formal networks for our middle and senior leaders.

EXPERTISE AT ALL PHASES

Outstanding practitioners in every age range, innovating and sharing great practice within and beyond our Trust. We have strength in depth and breadth, developing strong middle leaders and inspirational practitioners. We love being a cross-phase Trust and enjoy the added benefit of working with and learning from our colleagues with expertise in teaching and learning at phases other than our own.

EMPOWERING SCHOOLS

Locally-run schools that meet the particular needs of their children and communities. Through the highest standards of leadership support and accountability, Bridge Academy Trust empowers its schools. Our schools are challenged and supported to improve themselves to a bespoke agenda, making decisions and choices in the best interests of their stakeholders.
